A glimpse into the daily lives of some local Balinese at this fresh produce market. Was able to bring out some nice colour tones with HDR and selective colour processing. Just noticing there may be a slightly better crop... see note.

Good call MPG! These guys are amazing! I brought home a HUGE bag of produce.

I am glad you did..I'll prolly hit it tomorrow :) what did you buy?

So much! Spinach, asparagus, fingerling potatoes, melon, apples, garlic, shallots. Nice people there. I'll be going back to them. Since it's a 3 day weekend the crowds were INSANE!!!

Nice you got a lot - just like I do! Not only that, but Erik if you ever have any kind of question regarding a fruit or vegetable variety or funky rare produce questions like I twist their brains with...believe me, they will have an answer! Those guys do their job well - I am glad you enjoyed shopping there :)

ok, everyone who knows me knows that I HAAAAATE grocery shopping (ANY shopping, really), but Kenny really wanted me to see the fancy upscale Cosentino's grocery store, out in Silvercreek. I have to admit, even the setting of the center itself was beautiful, and the store was truly fresh and fantastic. Kenny goes here everyday for his lunch, and I can see why!

I took this pic because I am obsessed with exotic fruit. One of the things I always get into when i travel is the cool exotic fruit. The white stuff with the black seeds (with a pink peel) is Dragon fruit...

A scene I observed from my car at a small marketplace in the Moscow suburbs. Not sure what exactly was going on between them, but the woman was obviously paying her daily 'tribute' to the local 'bosses'. And they were obviously unimpressed by the size of increment. (Posted in chronological order)
